They have to fill out a basic personal information form and attach a cover letter detailing their achievements, explaining the decision to take part in the Olympiad and naming the preferred fields of study. Winners and runners up seeking to study at HSE on bachelor’s programmes in 2019 will get the opportunity to enter the university as Russian government scholarship quota students without taking entrance examinations. In the academic year 2017/2018, more than 4,000 prospective students from 15 countries took part in international intellectual competitions.
