HSE Nizhny Novgorod to Launch New English Medium Programme
The course is intended for linguists capable of utilizing digital tools for text analysis.
Higher School of Economics Nizhny Novgorod will launch a master’s programme in Applied Linguistic and Text Analytics in 2020. Students will learn to use modern computer technology to analyse texts in any language, obtain necessary information from several sources simultaneously and process it. The programme mostly targets bachelor’s degree holders focused on humanities, however, candidates who majored in other disciplines are welcome to apply.
All classes will be conducted in English. To confirm your proficiency in English, applicants have to take a test or show an international certificate (IELTS, TOEFL IBT or CAE). An application portfolio includes a cover letter, commendations for participation in contests, Olympiads and universiades, letters of recommendations from former teachers etc.
