I’ll Never Forget a Friend As I Met Him in Moscow
The MSMU international festival brought together students from different countries.
I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University held Sechenov Unity Day for the second time. It was attended by students from Malaysia, Bahrein, Syria, Israel, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and some African states. Tasting national dishes was the key festival event. Participants laid the tables to offer several varieties of pilaw, Armenian mutton soup Putuk, flat bread, pies with different fillings, Azerbaijani qutabs, as well as dolma, falafel, baked vegetables, baklava and exotic fruits. The students then ran a quiz. They divided into teams which had to show the knowledge of cultures of different countries. During the second part of the quiz they answered questions devoted to medicine. All participants got prizes. The festival ended in a show of national songs and dances.
I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University is a Russian university offering quality medical education. It currently provides training to more than 3,500 foreign nationals from 87 countries. The university offers such programmes as General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Paediatrics etc. Some of them, including General Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Care Management are taught in English.
