International MISiS Summer Courses in Materials Science Will Be Held in Moscow
For international students, short programme application closing date is 15 May 2017.
MISiS Materials and Technologies and Computational Materials Design summer schools are short programmes from a world leader in this specialty training. Materials science programmes are available at all education levels in Bachelor’s, Master’s and Postgraduate studies. MISiS is in top 300 in QS World University Rankings by materials science.
Summer schools’ language of instruction is English. The classes are conducted on university campus in central Moscow. Students live in a comfortable MISiS residence hall located near the teaching blocks.
Computational Materials Design programme runs on 5-19 July 2017. Tuition fee is 250 euros per week. The programme is intended for fourth-year Bachelor’s degree students and Master’s students studying materials science, inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry. It is focused on problem-solving for multicomponent systems using thermodynamics and ab initio modelling.
The summer school “Materials and Technologies” runs on 15-29 June 2017 for students who completed two years of Bachelor’s degree studies. Tuition fee is 400 euros. The summer school programme includes courses in materials and technology for solar power, biomaterials and IT technologies in materials science, as well as courses in materials and technologies for digital design and 3D printing. Length of basic course is 40 classroom hours plus another 20 hours of Russian language study.
