ITMO launches a unique healthcare science programme
The Scientific Communications Office of ITMO University presents a unique for Russia master's degree in health sciences. The programme examines the spread patterns of viral diseases and current population protection measures during an epidemic.
The English-taught Public Health Sciences (Science Communication) speciality is part of the Innovation Science programme and launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The case made evident the shortage of qualified epidemiologists able to analyze a wide data range: economic, social, historical and medical. Future masters will use innovative developments, ITMO laboratories with high-tech equipment to handle their research.
