Lobachevsky University Is Welcoming 500 International Students

Preparation to 2016/2017 academic year is in progress.

A lot of applications have come from Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Far East, US, Australia and the CIS. The most popular areas are Petrochemistry, Economics, Business, International Relations, Philology, Psychology, Journalism, Business-focused and Essential Computer Science and Information Technology.

The most popular programmes are those taught completely in English: BA in International Relations, Economics, Essential Computer Science and IT, MA in Neurobiology, Math and Computer Science, Management (the last one is double degree programme, so students can get two diplomas from UNN and University of Siena).

Recently foreign graduates of UNN receive their diplomas. 87 students from 42 countries have received their Master's and Bachelor's degrees. A festive graduation ceremony was conducted at Lobachevsky University for the graduates of the Foreign Students Dept. The department delivers courses in Economics, Finance, Biology, Language Studies, Journalism, Political Science and many other disciplines.

Friends and family members from all over the world came to congratulate the graduates. In accordance with the tradition, the ceremony was crowned with a graduates' march across the main square of Nizhniy Novgorod and a photo session.
