MEPhI Mathematics and Physics Olympiad: Registration Open

The winners applying to the university get admission preferences.

National Research Nuclear University MEPhI invites Commonwealth of Independent States schoolchildren in 7th to 11th grades from to take part in the “Rosatom” Olympiad. Participants can choose physics or mathematics or both. Tryouts are held online till 31 December 2019. Complete registration to get the link to problems on the Olympiad page. You have three hours to solve the problems and just one attempt, so preliminary training is recommended. The university website has a section offering study materials for applicants such as videos detailing the solution of past Olympiad problems and sample problems. The tryouts results and the list of the finalists will be published on the MEPhI website by 31 January 2020.

The finals will be held in Russian and CIS cities in February-March. The winners can choose between admission to MEPhI field-specific undergraduate or specialist programmes without entrance examinations and getting 100 Unified State Exam points in the subject matching the Olympiad discipline.
