Eva Kattee from Kenya became the winner of the Beauty contest among international students.

Contest “Miss International” was held at Samara University for the first time with the participants from 7 countries. The competitors went through several stages of selection. At every stage they had to demonstrate their creative talents and intellectual abilities. Thus the girls presented national costumes of their countries, videos with presentations of themselves, their achievements and interests.

In the creative contest the students danced, sang and recited poems. The contest ended with a fashion parade in which the contestants demonstrated evening dressed before spectators. The crown of “Miss International” of Samara University was given to Eva Kattee from Kenya. She won in the nomination “Miss of Spectators preferences” having got the biggest number of students’ voices who voted for the contestants in social nets. Mariya Seper from Kazakhstan became the best one in “Miss Purposefulness” nomination.

The title of “Miss Individuality” was awarded to Natasha Moleel from Botswana by the jury. Lisha Rocca, representative of Nepal, got the title of “Miss Creativity”, “Miss Originality” was awarded to Astrid Niava from Cameroon. Tajikistan student Sadorat Kurbonova got the title of “Miss Sophistication” and her colleague from Vietnam, Fam Chang, became “Miss Naturalness”.
