The university offers cryptography training to international prospective students.
International students are welcome to apply for the cryptography programme at the Novosibirsk State University Department of Mechanics and Mathematics. It is Russia’s first ever English-taught graduate programme in this modern field. Students will master data protection and encryption/decryption methods and learn to work with dedicated software. The subjects include discrete mathematics, crypto analysis of symmetric systems, cipher development and cryptography history. Classes are conducted by NSU teachers and visiting researchers from leading European, American and Indian universities. Internships are taken at NSU and the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics, Novosibirsk. Graduates can be employed at cyber security departments of large companies. Application deadline is 15 June 2018.
On-campus education lasts two years, from September 2018 till June 2020; tuition fee is $3,800 a year. Graduates get a master’s degree in mathematics. Sign in on the website to get in touch with NSU representatives for detailed information on the required documents.
Novosibirsk State University is located in Novosibirsk’s Academic Town; it has all conditions for study, research and comfortable life.
