The deadline is October 18, 2016.

The Higher School of Economics (more information about this university you can find here) invite prospective students to take part in the International Olympiad Competition. The contest is open for all non-Russian citizens, including the Russian compatriots living abroad (secondary school graduates and students of grades 8 to 12, students of non-Russian universities aged less than 30 years).

The event is expanding its geographical scope from year to year. The 2016 Olympiad will take place in 21 countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bielorussia, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Georgia, Israel, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia (for non-Russian citizens that reside permanently in Russia). 

The competition will be organized in the following fields: History, Mathematics, Design, Psychology, Journalism, Media Communications, English Language, Russian Language, and Social Sciences. The tests are linked to HSE’s educational programmes. So, participants should mark one or more subjects of interest during the registration. For example, students that consider studying Management should mark Mathematics and Social Sciences.

The winners will get the opportunity to enter HSE Bachelor’s and Specialist programmes without exams and receive a state scholarship. The other participants will have additional bonuses while applying to HSE. More information about Olympiad: for former Soviet republicsfor foreign countries.
