Russia enters the top-3 according to RUR Ranking
Russia made the top-3 in the global Round University Ranking - 2021 in the number of universities represented. Among 867 educational centres, 95 are Russian.
The study assessed the performance of universities on more than 20 indicators. The highest positions went to the Lomonosov Moscow State University, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Tomsk State University and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
MEPhI and TSU noted that the stable growth of their indicators in international rankings is not accidental: Russian universities are constantly improving the level of provided education, drawing talented educators and launching new programmes and global level scientific projects.
The top-500 included NUST MISIS, ITMO University, KFU, TPU, SPbPU, RUDN University, Sechenov University and Lobachevsky University. Tyumen State University, Siberian Federal University, ETU LETI, Samara University, FEFU, SUSU and IKBFU have strengthened their positions.
