SibFU Launches Free Online Courses for International Prospective Students

Three-month training will run from 9 January till 30 March 2018.

Senior high schoolers from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are welcome to apply. Courses are available in four subjects: Maths, Computer Science, Chemistry and Social Science. Applicants will have access to video lectures read by Siberian Federal University teachers and presentation material; a test rounds up each topic. The students who pass the final test earn a certificate confirming online course completion.

Registration will open on the SibFU pre-university department website in mid-December; language of instruction is Russian. Online learners will be able to participate in “I Enrol at SibFU” Olympiad covering Maths, Computer Science, Russian and Physics. Winners are entitled to two to five extra points to be added to their SibFU entrance examinations score.
