The Russian Federation lifts entry restrictions for additional countries: from September 21, 2020, for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Belarus, and from September 27 - for South Korea*.

Flights will take off once a week from the capital cities of these countries.

It's the most anticipated news for all international students of Russian universities! Currently, more than 60,000 people from Kazakhstan, 7,000 from Kyrgyzstan and over 12,000 from Belarus are studying in Russia. Due to the quarantine measures, the majority of them were, unfortunately, unable to enter the country in time for the academic year. Universities quickly came up with special distance programs for such students. However, the lack of practical classes and live communication with fellow students and staff became a problem for many.

But finally, the situation is turning the better! Perhaps very soon, students from other countries will be able to return and study in Russia again. Keep in mind that each arriving student will be required to pass coronavirus tests and self-isolate for two weeks. You can find out more about the procedure for entering Russia on our website.
