SUSU to Hold Summer IT School Online
Applications are open till 11 June 2020.
South Ural State University’s School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science invites Russian-speaking schoolchildren in 9th – 11th grades to an online summer school on 15 – 20 June.
Curriculum: the Internet of Things, 3D modelling basics for robot systems, neural network building and teaching it to detect objects in images. Classes will be conducted by best SUSU teachers in electronic engineering and computer science; the lecture schedule is available on the university website.
Tuition is free: to pass the competitive selection, candidates have to write a cover letter explaining why they want this training. The school will admit the authors of the most convincing letters.
Fill out the application form by 11 June; you need a Google account, a computer, a mobile phone (Android 5.0 or higher) and access to the Internet. The school opens at 09:30 on June 15; the link will be emailed to the participant.
