Four Russian Universities have been listed in the new THE Rankings.
The September edition of prestigious THE subject rankings features four fields: Business and Economics, Education, Law and Social Sciences (listings for the last two have been released for the first time).
Lomonosov Moscow State University was placed 97th for education leading other Russian higher education institutions. Higher School of Economics was best in Russia for Business and Economics; HSE was listed in the 101-125 bracket. Aside from HSE, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University and Kazan (Volga region) Federal University made the top 200. The same universities are in the Social Sciences table. The top 200 include Lomonosov Moscow State University and Higher School of Economics, followed by Kazan Federal University and Saint Petersburg State University.
In September 2017, THE released the rankings for Arts and Humanities. Five Russian universities were listed: Lomonosov Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University, Higher School of Economics, Kazan Federal University and National Research Tomsk State University. THE latest institutional excellence survey, also released in September, includes 18 Russian universities.
