University staff will present Russia’s education opportunities.

On 20-22 November, Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan will host the 17th international fair “Education and Science 2019” bringing together universities from different countries. National Research Tomsk State University will represent Russia. University staff will answer questions about studying in Russia, present TSU programmes and talk with prospective students and their parents. Venue: Korme Exhibition Hall, 3 Dostyk Str.

Education in Russia is popular with Kazakh nationals. Over eight years (from 2010 to 2018), the number of Kazakh students in Russia increased from 19,800 to 52,700. Kazakh applicants are attracted by affordable tuition fees, a large range of education programmes and comfortable living conditions. A Russian-Kazakh agreement on mutual recognition of education documents is another important advantage. It means that Russian university graduates do not have to complete the degree recognition procedure upon returning to their home country. They can start working in their degree area right away.
