My expectations about studying in Russia definitely came true

Saint Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and when I was thinking about a place to study I thought 'Why not?' I like ITMO University because here I am able to study in English – it’s easier for me than studying in Russian. If I had to describe the atmosphere I felt here in one word, I’d call it challenging.

In Morocco, universities are not really experienced in the field I wanted to study. So studying abroad is the best option for me. Since long ago Russia has been leading in many fields, and I think it’s a very good place to study. They give you very strong theoretical base, you find good technologies and you can practice a lot.

In general, as a foreigner I find the main difficulty about living here the cold weather, but I got used to it. However, ITMO University is very cool and I like it, my expectations about studying here most definitely came true.

If someone wants to study in Russia I’d recommend him to choose universities in big cities like Saint Petersburg or Moscow. As for me, I prefer Saint Petersburg and I’d suggest coming here. I study big data and extreme computing, so I’d recommend the guys who share my interests to choose ITMO University as a good place to study.
