Russia’s expanse and long history are world known, that’s why I am here

I chose nanotechnology for my graduate studies because no one can deny the importance of advanced technologies today. Despite science being my vocation, I also want to help people as a volunteer. Russia’s expanse and long history are world known, that’s why I am here. Some may find it bizarre but the thing I like the most about St Petersburg is its weather. I find the local climate most agreeable. It turns out that people here are open-minded and amiable. There are the best teachers and state-of-the-art laboratories in my universities which provide me with required facilities for practice. There are many leisure activities available as well. Recently, I went to cheer my fellow citizens who gave performances at an international student festival “Golden Autumn”. During my years at SPbPU I have made many friends from Russia, Sri Lanka, China, Estonia and other countries.
