I am going to study medicine in Russia

I’m from a touristic city of Agadir, which is located in Morocco. I have come to Russia in order to study Medicine, but first I’m doing a preparatory course here at IKBFU. Apart from Russian language classes, I have several subjects on my curriculum: physics, chemistry and biology. I found out about Kaliningrad by accident. I was looking for Russian university and found information about IKBFU and Kaliningrad. For sure, I was worried about coming to study here since I didn’t have anyone here and I didn’t know Russian language at all at that time. But when I arrived in Kaliningrad, everything turned out to be much easier. I was met by someone in the airport, then I came to my dormitory and was introduced to my tutor. Tutors are IKBFU students who help international students with different kinds of things, such as documents, required for visa and registration. They also help us with any mundane issues we encounter.

There are a lot of international students at IKBFU whom you are also going to meet. Eventually, you will feel as one big family, which I find incredibly lovely. Moreover, our teachers are always very friendly and ready to help us learn Russian language. I have made a right decision by choosing IKBFU because studying here is always fun. We have excursions to attend, which helps us learn more about Kaliningrad and Russian culture and its history.
