I live just two steps away from the university in a modern dormitory

My name is Nguyen Thanh Lam, I am a graduate student of the 3rd year of MIPT. I entered MIPT in 2009. Before coming to Russia, I bought some warm clothes (as I thought) in Vietnam. But when I came here I had to buy another winter shoes and jacket because my clothes were not warm enough. Now I got used to the climate. I also enjoy eating Russian food in the campus canteen and buffets. I live just two steps away from the university in a modern dormitory.

Very high qualified scientists work in MIPT. The staff members who work with foreign students always help us in solving various problems. Every day I communicate with students from different countries, learn something new about their culture and traditions. In our university students have a very busy life. Students participate in various cultural and sport events such as the open doors day, "Miss MIPT", soccer matches, championships and much more. I can say that in MIPT we have everything for active life. We have a pool, a stadium and a hall for football, ice skating and gyms. In general, I have an excellent impression about the country and the university.
