Studying abroad  really opens my mind

My name is Osinkolu Moriselade Omosalewa, an international student from Nigeria. I had a Bachelor Degree in English and Literary Studies; a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising and a current second year Masters student. Studying abroad precisely at HSE University really opens my mind. It is a great chance to develop my language skills and at the same time, meet people from various countries and learn about their various unique cultures.

My experience in Higher School of Economics has been really great and exciting journey so far so good. The lecturers and staff are friendly and helpful. I like their methods of teaching which include seminars, presentations and assignments which count as part of exam results. However, i thoroughly enjoyed formative classes of English Academic Purposes and research method classes where i got the chance to conduct academic research in my favorite area.

Through the course i am doing, i have learned about how to relate and do business with other Asia countries, their business etiquette and entrepreneur and other global challenges both in Africa and Asia countries. Moreso, on theoretical perspectives on world politics. The course "Socio-economic and Political Development in Modern Asia" has expanded my knowledge on research base on some African countries and Africa's engagement with BRICS. I highly recommend Higher School of Economics for anyone who is interested in studying overseas.
