In Russia, I have got knowledge and great experience

My name is Paramita Pal, I’m from India, Kolkata. I decided to apply for studies at NUST MISiS, and now I can say that this has been a wonderful experience for these two years. The university became home for many nationalities from ex-USSR countries, as well as for other international students from India, Vietnam, Pakistan, Iran, Germany, Ethiopia etc. Thanks to the Day of Nationalities held at NUST MISiS all these students are given a unique chance to present their traditional dances, songs, cuisines. So, as for me the Day of Nationalities is a day when all nationalities from different universities in Moscow unite in our university to share their cultures and learn others. I think it`s a big day to remind that we are under one shelf.

Most of us have difficulties during studies, especially if you are an international student – language barrier, new culture, weather conditions, etc., as well as for me there were so many ups and downs – mainly ups – but I can say that it wouldn’t be easy for me to leave this place because it gave me great life lasting memories.
