During the course, such disciplines as physics of low-dimensional systems, nanophotonics, spintronics, one-electronics, etc. are studied.

The topics of scientific research are related to the development of radiation-resistant microcircuits, light-emitting (laser and LED) heteronanostructures with quantum dots based on semiconductors, optically active media based on nanocrystals in semiconductor and dielectric matrices, nanostructures based on dilute magnetic semiconductors and dielectric layers with metallic nanotubes creating memory elements.

The training takes place at the Department of "Physics of Semiconductors and Optoelectronics"; Department of Solid State Electronics.
