Program Focus

The residency in Allergology and Immunology may be applied for by people with an MD (MBBS) degree. The Program strives to train qualified medical specialists dealing with immune system disorders, who may work for public health institutions or conduct private practice. The training is practically-oriented and is aimed to provide the students with systematic knowledge and professional competencies, necessary to prevent, diagnose and treat immune system disorders.

Program Advantages

The residency program is designed to enhance the student’s ability to prevent and/or diagnose and manage immune system disorders and various allergic diseases, conduct a detailed examination, identify specific allergens and allergic reactions, specify the necessary medication and its dosage to prevent further allergy aggravation.

Career Opportunities

The residency graduate is a qualified specialist in possession of modern high-tech methods of diagnosis and treatment, entitled to carry out therapeutic, diagnostic and research activities, or conduct private medical practice. The Program gives its graduates access to careers in polyclinics, hospitals, allergology wards of large diagnostic centers, specialized research and practical centers. Upon completion the graduates are given a chance to apply for a postgraduate course in Clinical Immunology and Allergology.
