The undergraduate program in Hydrometeorology provides students with all methods for managing hydrometeorological monitoring, regulation and reduction of environmental pollution, and with knowledge in anthropogenic systems and environmental risks, as well as with methods for evaluating influence of meteorological factors on environment conditions, human life, and industrial sector by using modern methods of analysis and computing.
The program includes the following main subjects: land hydrology, hydrology of rivers, hydrometry and safety engineering, general and river hydraulics, water and technical development, hydrological forecasts, river flow and hydrological calculations, water management calculations, dynamics of flow and channel processes, numerical methods in hydrology, water engineering.
