Qualified professionals are in-demand due to the fact that government agencies are growing more interested in environmental compliance, environmental legislation is being improved, the society and businesses pay more attention to this matter.

Programme contents

To study technogenesis and formation of natural and man-made landscapes one needs to master methods of assessment for geochemical stability of landscapes and water bodies to man-induced influence, and methods of environmental monitoring organization for natural and man-made landscapes. Environmental management and audit: the role of state policy and economic sanctions for recovery of the environment. Environmental policy and problems of sustainable development; fundamentals of organization and management in conservational and resource-saving activities.

Graduates of the programme may continue their studies as PhD-students. 

Admissions

Admission is competitive, students with Bachelor’s degrees or higher are eligible. The admission tests are an exam in Ecology and Natural resources management and an interview.
