IUpon completion of their Ph.D. program, graduates will be able to work in the following fields:  a set of tools, techniques and methods of activities aimed at a theoretical study and experimental research of the problems associated with the creation of competitive products; identification and justification of the relevance of engineering problems, technological machines and equipment, their design, applied mechanics, automation of technological processes and manufactures for various purposes, engineering and design provision of engineering industries, mechatronics and robotics; the creation of new (at the level of international standards) manufacturing technologies in engineering industries; development of design methods, mathematical, physical and computer modeling of products, technological processes and engineering industries, tools and systems for their engineering and design provision.

The graduates will have an understanding of designed objects for new or retrofit engineering industries for various purposes, their products, main and auxiliary equipment, systems and technological machines and equipment, tool technology, equipment, elements of applied mechanics, design tools, automation and control systems, mechatronic and robotic systems; industrial and technological processes of engineering industries, the facilities of technological, instrumental, metrological and diagnostic provision.
