The students of agriculture study cultivation of crops, as well as harvesting, storage, processing and marketing crop products. The students also study humanities and social and economic sciences.

The program includes such courses as soil science, basics of research, biology of disease excitant, agricultural meteorology, agricultural regulation, melioration, farming agriculture, agricultural chemistry, vegetable growing, plant science, genetics, grassland science, forage production, apiculture, plant protection, selection and seed breeding, fruit farming, technologies for storing and processing crops, certification, standardization and quality control, etc.

Practical and production practices are held at the Department’s lot and regional agricultural enterprises.
