This program offers students both humanitarian and mathematics educations, as well as the opportunity to learn essential computer programming skills. Students take part in scientific research conferences, field research trips on Russia’s dialects and minor languages, and academic exchange programs at European partner universities. There is also the opportunity to work in a neurolinguistics laboratory and at HSE’s Russian language center. Graduates are experts in the automatic processing of natural language and work in the field of computer technology or as theoreticians, exploring the full diversity of natural and artificial languages.
