The program trains multy-disciplinary specialists with universal competencies in physics, physical chemistry for fundamental research and innovative technologies development.

Our students get an opportunity to solve practical tasks related to development, description, and optimisation of new materials discovery processes based on the phase material change. Their research is focused on diffusion processes in metal alloys, energy storage systems and supercapacitors, composite materials and biomaterials, thermodynamics and kinetics of solid-phase transformations.

After succesfull completion of the program students get sufficient level of training to pursue their education on master's level in any program realted to natural sciences.

Specialisation in the last years of studying allows to acquiry deep knowledge and master fundamental approaches in atomic and microscopic approaches: quantum physics, statistical physics, chemical thermodynamics, kinetics of processes. During research activities students can specialise in experimental or theoretical research, computer modelling and numerical methods in solving physics tasks.
