Contemporary Design in Arts and Crafts Secondary School Instruction

The joint master's program of the HSE School of Design and the HSE Institute of Education combines the achievements and innovations of one of the most dynamically developing departments of the university and the experience of a key HSE research and educational institution. The purpose of the master's program is to create a new approach to the teaching of creative disciplines in schools and universities. The program is designed for teachers who would like to improve their skills in the development of educational programs and the implementation of training in creative disciplines. The program will be also useful for designers who would like to continue their careers in teaching at different educational levels: from secondary schools and vocational courses to universities in creative fields. A compulsory part of training is practice in Moscow schools. As a result of training, each master will create an author's educational program taking into account world experience and modern educational methods.
