The degree program is aimed to train competitive specialists ready to implement social, technological, organisational, managerial, research, social project, and pedagogical activities and self-education in order to improve the social sphere and solve current social problems of the region. It also strives to develop the students’ personal qualities and cultural and professional (social and technological, research, organisational, managerial, social project, pedagogical) competencies in accordance with the federal state educational standard for social work.
The graduates can perform the professional activity in the following areas: social welfare (including young people), social services, education, health care, culture; medical and social expertise; penal system and employment regulatory system, migration, emergency assistance; can be employed in public and private companies, and non-profit organisations.
