The aim of the Economic Security degree program is to train specialists capable of carrying out research, practical and consulting activities in the field of ensuring economic security of the state, region, municipality, business entity. Along with research on the problems of economics and law, the students master the skills to identify and eliminate causes and conditions that contribute to the emergence of threats to economic security; skills to identify, evaluate, localise and neutralise threats to economic security, to form a model of a security system; legal terminology; skills to work with regulatory legal acts in the field of economy and economic security; skills in analyzing various legal phenomena, legal facts, legal norms and legal relations that are objects of professional activity; skills to implement substantive and procedural law; methods of qualification and differentiation of various types of offences in the field of economy.

Employment: economic, financial, industrial, economic and analytical services of organisations, institutions; financial and credit organisations; audit companies, state or municipal unitary enterprises; state and municipal authorities; non-profit structures; research organisations; institutions of higher, secondary and continuous professional education.
