The master's program is aimed at in-depth study and scientific research of socio-historical processes and phenomena in their political, socio-cultural, economic dimensions in historical retrospect and current state, their reflection in historical sources, which are the basis for understanding the socio-political realities of the past and present. Within the framework of the profile "Historical political science" at the master's level, graduates deepen their knowledge of political phenomena, political doctrines, the functioning of the political system of society in the past and present, take part in scientific conferences, make presentations and prepare scientific publications.
As an additional component of professional training, it is assumed that graduates will study and master two modern foreign languages, deepen their training in the field of foreign languages obtained at the bachelor's level.
In the course of the master's program, internships of undergraduates are possible in Russian and foreign partner universities Of the Institute of international relations, history and Oriental studies of KFU.
