The post-graduate degree program is taught in Russian.
Post-graduate students are trained for research and teaching at higher education institutions, as well as for work in a wide range of areas that require philological and linguistic competencies.
The program involves studying the language in its theoretical, practical, functional, pragmatic, synchronous, diachronous, socio-cultural and comparative aspects; different types of texts, created in different epochs and existing in various forms, in their historical and theoretical aspects; oral, written and multi-modal (including electronic formats) inter-personal and mass communication in all spheres of human communication; linguistic technologies applied in various information systems, specialized software and electronic resources in humanities.
