The post-graduate degree program is taught in Russian.

Post-graduate students are trained for research and teaching at higher education institutions, as well as for work in a wide range of areas that require philological and linguistic competencies.

The program involves studying the language (with an emphasis on the Chinese language) in its theoretical, practical, functional, pragmatic, synchronous, diachronous and socio-cultural aspects; different types of texts, created in different epochs and existing in various forms,  in their historical and theoretical aspects; oral, written and multi-modal (including electronic formats) inter-personal and mass communication in all spheres of human communication.
