The program is focused on R&D in materials science as applied to materials with special magnetic, electrical and heat properties.
Master’s degree students use the equipment available at the department and permanent magnet research laboratory equipped with a unique range of magnet metering equipment (strong field hysterisisgraph (max. 3 T), vibration magnetic metering equipment (max. 3 T), MK-4Э and MK-3Э magnetic metering units) for the soft magnetic material magnetic parameter control. The department is equipped with PPMS-9 + EverCool-11 Cryogen-Free metering unit intended for research into magnetic, heat and electrical material properties in the min. 4 K (liquid helium) to 700 K temperature range.
