Programme Focus 

The primary task of the course is the formation of a comprehensive approach to training IT professionals, taking into account the innovations and the modern role of information and communication technologies for science, education, industry and business. Educational and research traineeships are carried out both on the basis of the Computer Centre of the PFUR Information Management and Technological Support Office, and on the basis of the Scientific-educational laboratory "Info-communications Management», Department of Applied Informatics and Probability Theory.

Programme advantages

The professional sphere of the graduates is research in the areas that use mathematical methods and computer technology, solving various problems using mathematical modeling of processes and objects, software. Graduate  departments are collaborating with such major educational and scientific institutions, as the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna).

The acquired knowledge and practical skills allow the graduates to work in the financial sector, banks, insurance companies, investment and pension funds, taking such positions as analyst-programmer, researcher, developer of mathematical models of processes, leading specialist, consultant on mathematical modeling, etc.
