About organization

The Russian State Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev was founded in 1865. The 555-hectare university campus is located within the city of Moscow, 9 km from the Kremlin, and has a modern educational, laboratory and research base. University infrastructure

Scientific Library

The first scientific library on agriculture in Russia. It is included in the list of the largest libraries in Russia. Funds - more than 4.2 million units of storage. The total area is 11,000 sq.m. Seats - 1000 Reading rooms - 3. Subscriptions - 4 Conference rooms - 5. Annual attendance - 650,000

College of Technology

Currently, the college provides training in 15 specialties, including veterinary medicine, agronomy, land management, mechatronics and robotics, landscape and landscape design. More than 1,500 Russian and international students study at the college.

Preparatory department

Foreign citizens are being trained for admission to universities of the Russian Federation both on a budgetary and contractual basis in the following profiles: economic, engineering, natural science, medical. The training period is 9 months. More than 300 foreign students are trained annually.

Equestrian complex

The Equestrian Complex contains 20 horses (17 leading breeds). There are training sessions for students studying in the fields of veterinary medicine and animal science. There is a playpen. Everyone can take horse riding training.
