Polytechnic is a university where science, education and a vibrant student life are intertwined. Everyone can find and realize themselves in creativity and sports: 70 sports sections, concerts, symphony orchestra, choral groups, theaters, vocal and dance studios, cyber sports, etc.
Adaptation of students
SPbPU has several organizations involved in the adaptation of international students and their integration into the university community. They provide comprehensive support from meeting them at the airport, helping them with paperwork, solving everyday problems, and organizing leisure activities.
PolyUnion International Club
PolyUnion is an ecosystem of structures and organizations related to international student life at Polytechnic University, whose mission is to make the life of international students more comfortable.
Tutor Forces
Voluntary student association “Tutor Forces” is a platform for informal communication, which helps to overcome language and intercultural barriers, involving international students in the Polytechnic family, improving their social and cultural adaptation to life in Russia.
Cybersport
SPbPU opened Russia's first university fijtal center - “Berloga”, where virtual and real activities, computer technologies and classical sports are combined. The SPbPU cybersports team became the national champion three times and won international university competitions.
Student research projects
The most advanced projects and developments in which SPbPU students and postgraduates are involved: Formula Student racing car series, SOLAR CAR - the first solar-powered car in Russia, the first Russian electric concept car CML CAR, SOLAR PANEL BOAT, bionic prosthetic hand, etc.
