About organization
Siberian Federal University is the first federal university, one of the 10 in the country. It is ranked among the top 20 leading universities in Russia.
Today, more than 1,000 international students and trainees from various parts of the world are studying at SFU. Most students comes from Central Asian countries, with additional students from Ecuador, Egypt, China, Venezuela, Colombia, Nigeria, Mongolia, Syria, Slovakia, Peru, Japan, Iraq and other countries.

Sports facilities
Spacious swimming pool, stadium and 5 sports halls for football, futsal, handball, basketball, volleyball, boxing, wrestling and gymnastics.
SFU Medical Center
A large multifunctional center where all international students can make appointments with a doctor and receive treatment at the SFU Medical Center, either for a fee or free of charge if the procedures are covered by the insurance company.
SFU dormitories
There are a total of 30 dormitories at SFU. In 2021, dormitory No. 30 won the All-Russian competition for student dormitory councils. The number of available spots for first-year students is 4,107, with accommodation prices ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 rubles.
SFU library
The SFU scientific library provides users with free access to over 3,000,000 printed and electronic publications, licensed scientific-educational resources and databases, as well as library services. Subscription services for scientific and educational literature are available across all university
SFU campus
