About the training program

The bachelor's program "Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication" combines practical classes in foreign languages and theoretical courses in linguistics, translation, and intercultural communication. The features of communicative behavior of representatives of Western and Eastern European cultures are studied. The major languages of the program are English, German and French, with English being studied as either the main or second language. The second language begins in the second year. Optional study of Spanish, Italian, Serbian, Turkish, and Chinese languages is offered.

Entrance exams

Exam 1 of 2

Russian Language

Minimal score is 40. The exam consists of two parts and three assignments. Part 1 includes Assignment 1 and Assignment 2. Assignment 1 includes 22 test questions. Assignment 2 includes 3 texts and questions pertaining to their understanding. Part 2 includes Assignment 3. Assignment 3 is an opinion essay on a certain saying or quotation: it should include the aspiring student's own thoughts based on their life experience and substantiated by arguments. Each sentence in the essay should be independent, logical, and non-redundant. The essay should consist of at least 150 words (excluding the subject quotation).

English

Minimal score is 30. Entry exam in foreign language consists of three parts: A, B, and C. Part A includes 25 single-choice test questions. Part B is a text with related questions. Part C is a single question that requires a detailed answer. The examinee is required to write a 200 words essay on the subject.
