About the training program

The aim of the program is to train bachelors able to work successfully in the field of theoretical and mathematical physics, capable of conducting fundamental and applied theoretical research, modeling complex physical, technical and engineering systems, possessing general and subject-specific competencies. The main feature of the educational process is the fundamental physical, mathematical and computer training, which allows to master basic and special disciplines, basic methods of theoretical research and mathematical modeling.

Students undergo research and pre-graduation internships at leading Russian scientific centers of Rosatom State Corporation and the Russian Academy of Sciences, such as RFNC VNIIEF, RFNC VNIITF, RSC KI, N.L. Dukhov Research Institute of Automation, FIAN, ITEF and others. N.L. Dukhov, FIAN, ITEF and others. Graduates are in demand in RAS institutes, research institutes and scientific centers engaged in experimental and theoretical research in the field of solid state physics, plasma, laser physics, combustion and explosion physics, astrophysics and cosmology.
