About the training program

Biochemistry studies the chemical composition of living cells, tissues, and organisms. Medical biochemistry investigates how the composition of biological environments and cells of the human body changes during the development of disease and its treatment, studies the causes of changes in human behavior, and much more. Medical biochemistry is the science of man, the nature of his health and disease, and the adaptation of the organism. Medical and clinical biochemistry includes not only simple biochemical studies but also complex molecular-cellular analyses.

Entrance exams

Exam 1 of 2

Biology

The applicant will have to get the minimum score - 39. The curriculum covers the mandatory minimum for full general school biology course, including, all its sections, namely: Plants Bacteria. Fungi. Lichen, Animals, Human Health, General Biology. All exam questions fall within that curriculum, but require deep knowledge of all its sections. Free and conscious mastery of biology concepts, theories, laws and patters is needed in order to answer them correctly.

Russian Language

The applicant will have to get the minimum score of 40. The exam consists of two parts and three assignments. Part 1 includes Assignment 1 and Assignment 2. Assignment 1 includes 22 test questions. Assignment 2 includes 3 texts and questions pertaining to their understanding. Part 2 includes Assignment 3. Assignment 3 is an opinion essay on a certain saying or quotation: it should include the aspiring student's own thoughts based on their life experience and substantiated by arguments. Each sentence in the essay should be independent, logical, and non-redundant. The essay should consist of at least 150 words (excluding the subject quotation).
