About the training program
The program provides for in-depth study of special disciplines such as oral mucosa diseases, clinical dentistry, cariesology, pediatric dentistry, and reconstructive oral surgery. Students also master natural science, biomedical, and humanities disciplines. The main goal of the program is to prepare highly qualified dentists who possess not only fundamental knowledge but also a creative approach to solving professional tasks. Important attention is paid to the formation of necessary competencies and skills for successful professional activity within the framework of the "general practice dentist" standard.

A dentist is a doctor who deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the teeth, oral cavity, and maxillofacial area. The profession of a dentist is a rather broad concept, including a whole range of specialists in a narrow profile. Dentists include:

• Surgical dentists
• Orthopedic dentists
• Periodontist dentists
• Orthodontists
Deterioration of the condition of teeth and the oral cavity can be associated with diseases not related to the dentist's area of responsibility. In this case, the dentist's task is to timely recognize the causes of the disease and refer the patient to another specialist.
