About the training program
The program prepares specialists capable of conducting and ensuring interlinguistic and intercultural communication in various professional fields, analyzing and researching translation material, editing translations, assessing the quality of translation, and managing the translation process. - Graduates are equipped with the competencies necessary to work as translators proficient in two foreign languages, interpreter-guides, teachers of foreign languages, translation and foreign literature
What do graduates do?
A translator is a specialist who translates texts or live speech from one language to another. A professional must master both types of translation, however, some translators specialize in one direction. Specializations: written translator (performs translation of texts, documents, books); simultaneous interpreter (translates speech in real-time, works at speeches, negotiations, lectures, conferences); technical translator (performs translation of instructions, drawings, various documentation); artistic translator (works in publishing houses, specializes in translating fiction).
