About the training program
Geologists take the best from other sciences and apply it to the study of Earth. They investigate Earth materials, the properties and structures of those materials, Earth processes and evolution, the history of our planet, and natural hazards and related phenomena. Geological and earth sciences/geosciences largely focus on the physical aspects of the Earth: such as its composition and structure, as a fully integrated system. Geology majors can use their skills to conduct research in the field, coordinate work around natural resources or make maps and charts for use in industry.

What do graduates do for a living?
Our students can continue their education at Master's Degree and postgraduate studies (Earth sciences).
A geology degree sets you up for a career within the energy, environmental or engineering sectors in industrial geology enterprises and organizations. Students will be trained for the future major of Management, monitoring of landscapes and the geological environment using GIS and instrumental methods. You can work as: Geologist, Government Regulatory Agencies, Operations geologist, Biostratigrapher, Natural Resource Production Conservation, Environmental Protection, Senior geologist, etc.
