About the training program
The area of professional activity of graduates who have mastered the master's program "Materials and Devices of Functional Electronics" includes research, development, and implementation in the technological process of materials and electronic devices operating on new physical principles. As part of mastering the educational program, students study specialized disciplines that allow them to gain in-depth knowledge in the field of synthesis, structure, and physical properties of amorphous and nanocrystalline materials and heterostructures; physical phenomena in ferroelastics and disordered polar dielectrics; creation of thermoelectric materials and devices; hydrogen energy.
What do graduates do?
The Department of Solid State Physics actively cooperates with JSC "RIF" (General Director, Dr. of Technical Sciences Ivanov A.S.) in personnel training, conducting R&D, R&D, and implementing the developed products. Based on the Corporation, there is a Scientific and Educational Center and a non-profit organization "Center for Nanotechnology Development 'FONON'", organized jointly with FGBOU VO "VGTU", the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Chernogolovka), as well as the Basic Scientific and Educational Center "Physics and Technology of Thermoelectric Phenomena". On the basis of the NOC, scientific research practice is conducted, laboratory, course, and final qualification works are carried out.
