About the University
Tolyatti State University is one of the leading universities in the country, a participant in the federal strategic academic leadership program "Priority 2030," a participant in the federal project "Advanced Engineering Schools," a flagship university of the Samara region, and a center for innovative and technological development of the region. The history of the university began in 1951 when a branch of the Kuibyshev Industrial Institute was opened in Stavropol (now Tolyatti). In 1966, to provide personnel for the Volga Automobile Plant under construction, it was reorganized into the Tolyatti Polytechnic Institute. In 1987, a branch of the Kuibyshev State Pedagogical Institute was established in Tolyatti – the first university center of a humanitarian profile in the city. On May 29, 2001, by the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Tolyatti State University was established on the basis of these two institutions.

Volunteering and volunteering
TSU volunteers work in several areas: social volunteering, sports volunteering, media volunteering, environmental volunteering, animal volunteering, art volunteering, donor movement, event volunteering.
PISH "HybridTech"
The advanced engineering school "Hybrid and Combined Technologies" was established at TSU in cooperation with industrial partners as part of a federal project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The general partner of PISH "HybridTech" is JSC "AVTOVAZ"
Dining rooms and buffets
In the cafeterias and buffets of Tolyatti State University, you can drink coffee, have a snack, and have a full lunch. The menu includes porridges, casseroles, omelets, soups, side dishes, meat, poultry, and fish dishes, salads, appetizers, hearty and sweet pastries, and custom pies.
FOK TSU
The Physical Culture and Health Complex of Tolyatti State University is a structural unit of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. The FOK of TSU has two swimming pools, 8 sports halls, a salt room, and a solarium.
