MISIS University is the leading university in the country in the field of creation, implementation, and application of new technologies and materials. In 2024, NITU MISIS took the 254th place in the global university ranking RUR, entering the TOP-5 best universities in the country. In the National University Ranking according to Interfax, NITU MISIS entered the TOP-10 Russian universities. MISIS University combines the unique competencies and scientific bases of several successful institutes into a single scientific and educational platform capable of competing on equal terms with the best technological centers in Russia and the world. The university has 262 doctors and 798 candidates of sciences. The university has more than 48 world-class research laboratories, where leading Russian and foreign scientists work.

Labs
At MISIS University, there are 45 laboratories and 3 world-class engineering centers where leading Russian and foreign scientists work. Starting from the third year of study, students conduct their own research, working both in the laboratories of NITU MISIS and in partner organizations.
The campus
NITU MISIS is located in the center of Moscow, two kilometers from the Kremlin (Oktyabrskaya metro station).
For first-year students, the university has organized an adaptation project "Immersion," where students can get answers to questions, learn about the traditions of the university, and the opportunities that open up before them.
dormitories
The dormitories of NITU MISIS are the pride of our university. High-speed internet, computer classes, and a reading room: everything is available here for study and comfortable rest. The student campuses of NITU MISIS have developed infrastructure: a swimming pool, a sports complex, a hairdresser, a cafe and dining room, and an autonomous boiler room.
